Scheduling Coordinator – Interpretation Services
Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of interpretation projects in accordance with project specifications. The Coordinator must work towards developing strong professional relationships with clients for all of the contract regions throughout the United States, while communicating closely with co-workers and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with assigned client accounts and is responsible for the entire life-cycle of each assignment:
- Identifies project requirements, look for vendors, and negotiates pricing.
- Assigns interpreters and ensures they are informed and properly equipped for the job.
- Follows all stipulated quality assurance procedures and resolves quality assurance issues.
- Performs administrative tasks relevant to each project (scheduling, issuing purchase orders, etc.).
- Contributes to the smooth functioning and development of the Interpretation Services team.
- Continuously strives to improve processes and workflow.
- Works with the team to monitor and negotiate vendor rates.
- Shares experience and troubleshoots issues with the team.
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of departmental records (Interpretation Division Calendar, SOP, training, etc.).
- Assists with special projects and initiatives.
- Pursues opportunities to develop professional skills and expertise.
- Continually works to improve upon client relationship management skills.
- Actively seeks to expand knowledge of project management or a related vertical industry and shares that knowledge with the team.
Minimum Qualifications
This job requires some experience coordinating projects and assigning resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Key job characteristics are excellent communication skills (both written and oral) a positive attitude and the high energy needed to work in a fast-paced environment. The incumbent must also demonstrate proven time-management, organization, computer skills, and be highly proficient in problem-solving and negotiation. He or she must be proactive in assessing needs, risks, and opportunities, in order to effectively prioritize, and be detail-oriented, in order to ensure accuracy and completion. Knowledge of a language other than English is a plus.
Work Hours
Work hours will be from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET. Remote work is allowed for this position.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Normal office environment, bulk of time spent at computer. Occasional attendance at company events outside of normal working hours. Requires high energy to handle fast-paced conditions. Project deadlines can create stressful conditions. Eyestrain and repetitive stress injuries are concerns.
